“In a distant galaxy, where the laws of physics begin to resemble poetry, lies the planet Althira – the last bastion of human civilization after the Great Escape from Earth. For years, its skies have been streaked with strange light impulses and unsettling gravitational waves, their sources undetectable by any known technology.
Until one day, right in the center of the sky, it appears… The Eye. Extraordinary, alive, pulsing with light and fire, it seems to gaze directly into the souls of all living beings. Scientists claim it’s the collapsing heart of a dead star – a supernova so dense it folded into the fabric of reality itself. But mystics tell another story.
They say it is the Eye of the Last God, now awakening – not from flesh, but from an idea. From an era when worlds were created by thought, not matter. The Eye doesn’t merely look. It sees. Memories, fears, guilt. Parallel worlds. A future yet to be born, and a past long forgotten.
The planet trembles. Not from earthquakes, but from collective fear. People begin to dream the same dream – of fire that doesn’t burn, but sears away consciousness, and of silence louder than any scream. And when the Eye finally blinks… everything disappears.
But perhaps – somewhere, in another universe – that moment was the very beginning of everything?”
